AVP is selflessly rendering services to the community as follows:-

1.    OUTREACH HEALTH CAMPS  & VILLAGE HEALTH WORKERS TRAINING: 

AVP conducts at least 40 health outreach camps every year throughout the state. Moreover, it has selected 112 health workers from unreached health facilities of different districts and provided rigorous training to them for delivering basic life saving drugs to the unreached people resided at interior areas of the state.​

 

2.    TRADITIONAL GAMES AND SPORTS ACTIVITY:-

AVP organizes rural sport and games from circle level to the state level in entire state especially Archery and Kabaddi events. More than thousand delegates participate in every year.  Interestingly, the participants have clinched many medals at National level championships every year. Many medal winners have been engaged in government job through sports quota, which were instructed and led by the Arunachal Vikas Parishad.

 

3.     EDUCATION AND TEACHERS' ORIENTATION TRAINING:-

AVP has established 28 BALWADI CENTRE, 02 PRIMARY SCHOOL and 02 MIDDLE SCHOOLS. The school institutions are run with the motto as culture through education.

Moreover, the organization is sending students out of the State for further studies through collaborating with the Kalyan Ashrams located across the nation.

 

4.     SHRADHA JAGARAN:-

AVP is giving its hands towards socio-cultural preservation of the indigenous faith believers. Along with providing financial assistance to them, it also mobilizes the people to have got together in the community centres. With efforts from AVP, there are more than 600 Prayer Halls are functioning in the state. In every year a programme named SAMPARG ABHIYAN is organized to reach the unreached villages by the Karyakartas to promote the faith systems of the tribal community. And also to make them aware about the preservation and promotion through offering prayer books, locates, photos, flags, etc.

 

5.     PRACHAAR PRASAR/PUBLICITY & DOCUMENTATION:-

The AVP is helping in documentation (i.e., videos, books, journals, etc.) of the tribal culture including, fair and festivals, marriage system, folk tales of the people of the state. The organization also helps in preparing pamphlets, poster/banners for awareness campaign to preserve and protect the tribal culture of the state.

A monthly Newsmagazine named Heritage Explorer is subscribed in a good numbers in the State.

 

6.     MAHILA KARYA:-

Under Mahila Karya so many activities are organized including movement in prayer hall in entire state, camping for village health awareness and coordinating in entire activities of the organization which adds in successfully completion of any kind of activities. Many Women workers are voluntarily engaged since from the inception of this organization and have been working till date with enthusiastically. They are including Smti. Tasso Tania Santi Didi from Apatani Community, Mrs. Jaton Pulu Didi from Mishmi Community and many more who are inspirational for the currently working Mahila Karyakartas.

7.    YOUTH & WORKERS ORIENTATION CAMPS:-

Since, AVP is a socio-cultural organization for the tribes of the state. The youths are motivated to do selfless services to the nation. The camps named PARICHAY VARG and PRAGAT VARG for five and ten days respectively every year. Form these camps; the youths are highly motivated and coming forward to serve the society as much as they can perform.

 

8.    CULTURAL EXCHAGE TOURS:-

The AVP organizes cultural exchange tours between the tribes of the state meant for sharing inter tribe culture, tradition, customs and faiths amongst them so as to learn the others’ culture through this programme.

 

9.    VOCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT:- 

Through these activities including Tailoring, Computer Education & Scholarship, the organization is trying to create awareness to the needy people for self employment by imparting tailoring course, computer education to the youths and giving scholarship for short term courses to the students.

10.    RELIEF WORKS:-

The organization is providing assistance ever since its inception towards the unfortunate incidents such as flash floods, gutting house fire, pandemics, and so on. Moreover, the organization has acted as frontline warriors in the state to provide essential commodities during COVID-19 Pandemic.
